What Has Happened to The Fundraising Money?
For those individuals who have generously donated in order to support the centre staying open, we would like to thank you immensely for all your efforts to help us protect the centre as a joint use facility. These funds were instrumental in securing the continuation of service at the leisure centre.
Be assured we are currently working hard towards securing the long term future of the centre, using the chance granted to it by the very supportive community.
Swale Community Leisure (SCL) are a charity that runs leisure facilities across Kent, alongside an extensive social impact and engagement programme.
As the new operators of Meopham Leisure Centre, SCL hopes to extend its charitable work to the residents of Meopham and surrounding areas, through provision of high quality physical activity for children and adults alike. Supporting community groups is central to this ethos and epitomises the ethics of SCL.
